Damson Cottage
Damson Cottage is a new detached house for a private client located in Speen, a village within the Green Belt. The client owned a large 1970’s house with a large garden, and wished to downsize to a smaller, new house within the same plot. The new house is designed to suit the local Chilterns vernacular and built from facing brickwork and clay tiles. External areas are planned to suit the client’s love of gardening and make the most of views from the house.
